Lone Star Ag Credit Celebrates Temple Office Customers at Annual Dinner

TEMPLE, Texas – Lone Star Ag Credit threw a customer appreciation dinner for its Temple branch customers at Cathedral Oaks in Belton recently. More than 160 borrowers and guests turned out for the annual event.

"We love seeing our customers each year at this dinner, we truly appreciate their business" said Vice President, Jason Collier.

At the dinner, stockholders were reminded that because they are part of a cooperative, eligible borrowers can from time to time receive a patronage dividend check from Lone Star. Based on the organization's strong 2014 financial performance, Lone Star's board of directors declared a $12.1 million cash patronage payment that was distributed to stockholders in April. The patronage dividend effectively reduced borrowers' interest rate for 2014 by approximately 1 percentage point.

As part of the nationwide Farm Credit System, Lone Star Ag Credit has been a reliable source of financing for rural America since 1917. The lender provides financing for agricultural and recreational real estate, rural homes, agricultural equipment, livestock, ag operating expenses and agribusiness firms.
