Lone Star Ag Credit's Customers Enjoy Good Food and Good Music!

Abilene Appreciation

Abilene, Texas –More than 120 borrowers and guests turned out for Lone Star Ag Credit's customer appreciation dinner for its Abilene branch customers. The annual event took place at The Warehouse in Abilene. Live music was provided by the Clear Fork Boys and The Beehive restaurant catered the meal.

"Our business is supported by the people we serve, it is a priority to let them know we appreciate their loyalty" said Jason Pettit, Credit Office President.

At the dinner, stockholders were reminded that because they are part of a cooperative, eligible borrower can from time to time receive a patronage dividend check from Lone Star. Based on the organization's strong 2014 financial performance, Lone Star's board of directors declared a $12. million cash patronage payment that was distributed to stockholders in April. The patronage dividend effectively reduced borrowers' interest rate for 2014 b approximately 1 percentage point.

As part of the nationwide Farm Credit System, Lone Star Ag Credit has been a reliable source of financing for rural America since 1917. The lender provides financing for agricultural and recreational real estate, rural homes, equipment, livestock, operating expenses and agribusiness firms.
