Lone Star Ag Credit Reports First Quarter Financial Results

Fort Worth, TX – LoneStar Ag Credit posted increased earnings in the first quarter 2015. Net income for January 1 through March 31, 2015 was $6.7 MM as compared to 6.5 MM the same period in 2014.

Our goal at Lone Star has been to provide a dependable source of credit to our customers by improving the quality of assets. Credit quality of the loan portfolio was exceptional in the first quarter with 98.25% of total loans classified as acceptable or special mention. Total assets as of March 31, 2015 were $1.46 billion compared to $1.38 billion on March 31, 2014. Gross loan volume reached $1.43 billion at the end of the first quarter of 2015 as compared to $1.35 billion in the same time period of 2014.

In April, based on the results of 2014 operations, $12.1million in cash patronage dividend checks were mailed to eligible member-stockholders. This dividend payment reduced borrowers' interest costs by an average of 1%.
