Lone Star Ag Credit Celebrates Lampasas Office Customers

Lampasas, Texas – While celebrating strong earnings in 2015, Lone Star Ag Credit held an appreciation dinner for its Lampasas branch customers at the Holiday House in Lampasas recently. Stockholder members and special guests were invited to the association's annual event.

"Our borrowers continue to make us a stronger cooperative," said Macy Blankenship, credit office president. "This is our opportunity to show how much we appreciate them."

Lone Star Ag Credit reported a net income of $14.37 million for January 1 through June 30, 2015, as compared to $13.19 million at the end of the same period in 2014. Total assets as of June 30, 2015, were just under $1.5 billion, an increase of $100 million compared to June 30, 2014.

Credit quality of the loan portfolio was also outstanding as of June 30, 2015, with 98.4 percent of total loans classified as acceptable or special mention.

As part of the nationwide Farm Credit System, Lone Star Ag Credit has been a reliable source of financing for rural America since 1917. The lender provides financing for agricultural and recreational real estate, rural homes, agricultural equipment, livestock, ag operating expenses and agribusiness firms.
