Lone Star Ag Credit Celebrates Corsicana Office Customers

CORSICANA, Texas – On the heels of a solid financial performance during the first half of 2015, Lone Star Ag Credit threw a customer appreciation dinner for its Corsicana branch customers at the Groesbeck Convention Center recently. Borrowers and friends were invited to the lending cooperative's annual event, which was held to thank customers in Falls, Freestone, Limestone and Navarro counties for their business.

"Lone Star Ag Credit strives to be the premier source of reliable financing to our customers year after year, and our results through the second quarter are an example of that commitment," said Kasey McGraw, credit office president. "Our customers drive that success, and we enjoy being able to recognize and thank them."

Lone Star Ag Credit reported net income of $14.37 million for Jan. 1 through June 30, 2015, as compared to $13.19 million at the end of the same period in 2014. Total assets as of June 30, 2015, were just under $1.5 billion, an increase of $100 million compared to June 30, 2014.

Credit quality of the loan portfolio was also outstanding as of June 30, 2015, with 98.4 percent of total loans classified as acceptable or special mention.
