Lone Star Ag Credit Hosts Cleburne Customer Appreciation Dinner

CLEBURNE, Texas – After finishing the third quarter with strong financial performance, Lone Star Ag Credit recently hosted a customer appreciation dinner for its Cleburne credit office at the Liberty Event Center in Cleburne. Borrowers and friends were invited to the lending cooperative's annual event, which was held to thank stockholders for their business. "Our appreciation dinners are a chance for us to update stockholders on how the association is doing," said Milton Kasper, credit office president in the Lone Star Cleburne office. "But more importantly, they allow us to thank member-borrowers for their loyalty and choosing us as a lender." Net income for Lone Star Ag Credit through Sept. 30, 2015, was $20 million. Gross loan volume was $1.51 billion at the end of Sept. 2015 — an increase of $105 million since year-end 2014. Earlier this year, the cooperative paid stockholders $12.1 million in patronage dividends based on its 2014 income. Lone Star presented all attendees with a gift, and also held a drawing for other prizes. The meal was provided by the Glen Rose High School culinary program. Lone Star Ag Credit provides financing for agricultural and recreational real estate, rural homes, agricultural equipment, livestock, ag operating expenses and agribusiness firms.
