Lone Star Ag Credit New Boston Office Hosts Appreciation Dinner

New Boston, Texas — The Lone Star Ag Credit New Boston Credit office hosted its annual appreciation dinner for its stockholders and referral sources April 15, 2014. It was held at Vaughn's Catfish on Lake Bob Sandlin. Over 100 customers attended. Brody Baird, New Boston Branch President, addressed the group about patronage, the recent merger and thanked them for attending.

As Baird mentioned at the meeting, an $11.95 MM cash patronage was paid in May based on the results from 2013 operations. This dividend payment reduced borrowers' interest costs by an average of 1%. As part of its cooperative structure and heritage, patronage dividends set Lone Star apart from other lenders.

“The members of our association are so important to our growth. This dinner allows us to let them know how much we appreciate them." Baird said. Everyone who attended received a gift at the conclusion of the evening. There were also door prizes given out to kids and adults.
