Lone Star Ag Credit Holds Annual Appreciation Dinner for Stockholders in Stephenville
Stephenville, Texas – Lone Star, ACA (Lone Star Ag Credit) held its annual appreciation dinner July 25, 2013 at City Limits. The Stephenville office's stockholders and special guests were invited. Matt James, Regional President, greeted the group and thanked them for attending.
Dinners are held throughout the year to thank stockholders for their business. Also the dinners are aimed at thanking referral sources, which are very important to Lone Star Ag Credit. The evening closed with a thank you gift for everyone that attended.
This was the 11th annual appreciation dinner for Lone Star Ag Credit's Stephenville office. Door prizes were given out the dinner as well. Troy Bussmeir, COO and board members Larry Stewart and Don Crawford spoke to the group about the future and changes to expect.
Stockholders were reminded that because they are part of a cooperative, most received a patronage check in May. That is a dividend payment that the board of directors at Lone Star voted to give back to the stockholders based on the bank's 2012 performance. It was a total of 7 million dollars or equal to approximately 1% of a borrower's loan balance.
