Fort Worth, Texas - Lone Star, ACA (Lone Star Ag Credit), the premier ag-lender in Texas, participated in the 2008 Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure on April 26. The association had a team consisting of employees, friends and family members from their Denton and Fort Worth offices. Lone Star Ag Credit was also a $5,000 sponsor of the event.The 15th Annual Race hosted more than 18,000 participants which makes this race the single largest charitable 5K in Tarrant County. Up to 75% of the net proceeds are used for local programs with the remaining 25% going to fund breast cancer research.
